The On Set Experience is a unique summer camp for dancers ages 8 and up who are interested in the entertainment and commercial dance industry. Dancers are trained by a variety of professional instructors currently working in film, television, and live performance. Throughout the camp, students learn what it’s like to work as a professional dancer, both in the studio and on camera.
Camp focuses on audition preparation and etiquette, learning choreography quickly, and understanding how movement translates for the camera. Dancers are also introduced to behind-the-scenes industry tools, including set terminology, camera awareness, and professional expectations. The experience concludes with a full-day, off-site video shoot at a real filming location. Each dancer receives the final camp video for personal use, dance reels, and promotional purposes, giving them a valuable keepsake and industry-ready footage.
